I still love London, but I'm getting to love Toronto, too.
I've only been here a shade over a week but have already found a gaggle of fine places for The List.
- Bar Volo, the Victory Cafe and Smokeless Joe's
- All great places for beer.
- Volo is a little swankier, particularly the food; the Victory have a wonderful patio on a quiet street and Joe's is tiny but tremendously friendly: my current favourite with their excellent beer choices and great veggie chillie.
- La Hacienda
- Local craft beer and superb Tex-Mex beans.
- The Rex
- The first jazz place I've tried in town, and it feels friendly and relaxed. A bit more yip than I'd really like in a music place, but some of the music is superb.
- The Senator
- My favourite place for breakfast, so far.
- Zaza Espresso Bar and Niche Coffee
- Serve great espresso.
I'm sure there'll be plenty more places to follow.

Try the Drake Inn - on Queen St West (I think….) and in your new stomping ground. Can't wait to see you out there soon.
