This is just a very simple script to Google from the command line. It isn't very fancy, and I mainly use it on a Mac. For Linux-folk using Gnome, just change the last line to call gnome-open instead of open.
This is just aimed at scratching a personal itch, but if it useful to you, you are very welcome to take it, modify it or do what you like. If it eats your cat, or spills your pint, I take no responsibility.
