Superb pub. The best pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord I've had for miles. I've had far worse pints in Yorkshire (where it's from).
I recommend going during 'library hour' in the late afternoon when all is peaceful. If you're an ale fan, you can chat happily to the landlord, Jeffrey, for a good long while.
