Superb restaurant where the daily menu is different and entirely verbal. The owner is a real character, who cares deeply about making great food from great, fresh ingredients. The selection of wines is excellent and the atmosphere & decor fit the vino-centric attitude perfectly.
They'll even figure out what to do for a vegetarian on the hop, but it may be worth warning them.
Be warned, it can get busy so it is worth booking.
(I have not been for several years, so do check before going. It's pretty much my favourite restaurant on the planet, so I hope it's still going strong.)
